Hello, I have been an educator for 10 years, and I liked to pursue a career until the situation in my country has been declining. It is no secret that here in Venezuela with that salary it is no longer possible to have a quality of life and I want to broaden my horizons and try another country. I chose Ecuador because of everything I have read here in your forum, it seems excellent to me and it explains it in great detail. I am also a descendant of an Ecuadorian, my mother's father is from there, we did not know him but I would like to find him if he is alive. I plan to go next year with my 3-year-old son and my husband is processing the paperwork. But I'm certainly afraid because I don't have anyone I know there. My doubt is that it would be a recommendable area to live. I could work there. I don't know how much a teacher earns. I have a postgraduate degree but my husband only has a bachelor's degree, which they recommend. Thank you.
