I prefer to be called Lary. I have lived in Benin since July 2015 and until then I like it there. Before moving to Benin I lived in the state of Pennsylvania, USA. I just try to appreciate what Cotonou offers in all areas and I refrain from comparing my life in the United States to that of Cotonou because they are two totally different worlds from an economic, political and socio-cultural point of view. I'm adapting to my new life here and that's the most important thing! I hope to get to know other expat members like me and also those from Benin!
