I am Venezuelan, with Ecuadorian maternal ancestry. I never thought about leaving my country, I imagined raising my daughter here, surrounded by her family because I grew up watching my mother suffer when she separated from hers, but in view of the economic and social situation in which we are living, I have decided that my daughter deserves a better future even if that means sacrificing many things.
