Hello! My name is Gina and I am from the east coast of America. I have just moved to Taiwan in search of teaching positions and tutoring work for conversational English. Let me tell you a little bit about my tutoring experience: -6+ years professional tutoring in the US. -Specialized in tutoring English comprehension and medical/kinesthetic sciences. -worked with young children (3-13 age range) for 4+ years. -tutored adults in conversational English and health sciences/kinesiology work for 2+ years. -worked with many students (both children and adult) that had not mastered the English language. -with each student I developed innovative lesson plans to help the students reach their goals as quick as possible. -I take my time to learn each students personal learning strategy (are they more of a visual, audio, or kinesthetic learner?). -I make sure the student is interactive and hands on with their studies in order to help absorb more information. -Students learn through 'doing' rather than copious amounts of homework. I am a very energetic, positive, and patient person, and I like to reflect that into my lesson plans.
