My boyfriend and I moved from South Africa to China when we took up a teaching position in Hangzhou on 13 January 2016. Being so new to the town (and to traveling abroad as we have never left our beautiful country until now) we are very interested in meeting others with a similar experience or who are looking for new friends to explore the city with. Our interests include traveling, outdoors sport, water sport, soccer (and pretty much every other kind of sport), arts and food! While we love being active we also enjoy kicking back on lazy afternoon and making good food with friends, as well as the occasional dance night. At the moment, we are trying to learn Chinese and how to navigate the streets (haha!) but also interested in tai chi, mixed martial arts and cooking traditional chinese food.
