Lisboa, Portugal

I don't know if you are new here in Lisbon but it's my case. I am here now for 2 weeks and it seems there is a lot to explore. I wanted changes after China, I missed Europe and Portugal was a good option, not far from France, with a good weather, good food, good people ( that's what I heard and read the most before coming here ). The job was super easy to find but for the flat, it took me time and energy. Put in your mind that Lisbon is not a cheap city anymore ! but the salaries are still low and the way of life super cool.
I am working now for Amazon as a Seller support for the French market. I met really nice people from France, Spain and Italy.

Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

Heyyyy! I came in China end of February with a student visa that I get in Prague. It was my first time in China and I mooved to Shenzhen, a city of 11 million inhabitants which is ... crazy ! I had the idea to study Chinese and stay there till I become fluent but the destiny had something different for me .. After being registered at the Shenzhen University, I start the spring semester end of February. A Semester in Shenzhen uni is 4 month and the cost for a intensive chine course is 1200? ( 8000 Rmb) The course is from Monday to Friday from 8h30 till 11:50. You have three different laoshi, the writing, the speaking and listening. The course is delivered in English for the beginners. The class is composed around 20 people with different nationalities such as Japanese, korean, canadian, thailandese, French, Iranian .. a good melting pot ^^
My first job in Shenzhen was both cool, easy and badly paid. I was working for a American guy who was making his own beer and sold it to restaurants, bars owning by Americans as well. He had a bar and I had to care of the social media pages, blogs in order to promote his business and making more attractive his bar organising events. Badly paid cause 5? per hour, paid in black, buy was working at home whenever I wanted as long as the job was done.

Prague, Praha, Czech Republic

Sept 2015 - Feb 2016

Prague, Praha, Czech Republic

I worked in this magnificent capital for 6 months in Call Center for 2 different campaigns (Homeaway and Panasonic). I met people of all nationalities there, including French, Italian, Spanish, German, English, Mexican and Czech. Despite the bad reputation of Czechs, they were the ones who helped me when I was in trouble to stay polite. I couldn't find accommodation, they gave me free accommodation and helped me find work. I came across some gems. After changing ''house'' 6 times, I settled in Dablice, a village located in Prague, 30 minutes from the center. Then I lived a sort of second Erasmus, beers galore, cocktails galore, in short a cool life with cool people. Despite its small size, this capital offers a lot culturally speaking (photo exhibition, painting) including one where I discovered a photographer that I adore Steven Mc Curry. The beauty of this city will surprise you, in summer the walks on the Vlatva, in winter the night market on the main square will not leave you indifferent. On the architectural side you will be served with the mixture of old and new, the art nouveau style present almost everywhere. You will have understood, Prague I recommend!
