Is Christ the Redeemer visible from Copacaban beach? by sarahjade75
Hi, I'm a Canadian writer and am doing some research on Rio. I'm wondering if the Christ the Redeemer statue can be seen from Copacabana beach. Thanks in advance for your time!
Sarahjade, You can see it from the beach or the water, as long as you are level with one of those roads.. You can't see above the frontage along Avenida Atlantica, so you have to look down the road, which gives you visibility.. word of advice, ... Read More

Hey there, Yes, you can see Christ the Redeemer from Copacabana Beach, but only if you are level with Rua Santa Clara, Rua Figueiredo de magalhaes or Rua Siqueira Campos, between POSTO 3and 4, which run adjacent to Avenida Atlantica/ beach.. If ... Read More
