I did extensive internship as Merchandise Planner for five months.
I was working as Merchandise planner in one of the renowned companies of Malta. I enjoyed working there! Maltese people are very friendly, emotional and outgoing therefore, if you want to mingle with them you must not shy away of posing burst of energy. Being expat, if your chemistry with Maltese inhabitants is well probably you will spend your entire life working in one company without changing the job. I have seen many instances in my company- employees who are of 50 plus, started working when they 18 years old.
I liked the sunny weather of this country. Since it is an island of Mediterranean sea and is in European Union; a lot of people from the UK and all over the world come here for summer vacations. English is widely spoken, according to my assumption 99% people could handle good English conversation. Being expat, everyone who speaks English or Italian will enjoy the most. I loved going to so alive beaches of Melliha, Gadhira etc and swimming in greenish-blue water. I recommend everyone should visit once this beautiful Island.
Public transport could be quite enjoying here, as there is only one mean of public transportation i.e. buses. Since, roads are not quite wide and the country is full of tourists, it might take an hour to go to the place which is just 5 kilometers far.

Lithuania is beautiful Baltic country which is producing increasing number of Lithuanian English speakers. The influence is coming from the plenty of flocking students population from North-East Asia. In winter trees and houses are covered with snow while summers are so green and enchanting which adored me the most. The country of rivers and lakes, we enjoyed going on the banks with chilled beverage and music system where barbecue took place all over the night.
Sometimes it could be hard to find English speaking people if you go to very country side, however, if one is planning to stay long term, learning Lithuanian is the best option as it is easier- one can pronounce the same as written unlike French where spoken is different than the written. ;) I am enjoying learning French too though.

I was Erasmus Plus (exchange) student for 2 semesters in University of Boras.
Masters Student
Sweden is beautiful Nordic country where English is widely spoken. Since I was a textiles student, I chose city Boras, as it is known for its rich textile culture, with production companies which used to be there about 40 years ago. However, there are still plenty of companies marketing offices e.g. Gina Tricot's head office. Boras is the city of students. The city could be quite solitary sometimes while in weekends it is full of people and so live.
If you are not that outgoing, sometimes it can be hard to crack the shell of Swedes and befriend.
