I am currently working in Jeddah and have been for 5 months now. I am mainly responsible for the Western region for my company but have projects kingdom wide.
A safety and security officer.
I love the location, right on the red sea. The size of jeddah is great, when off the beaten track theres still lots of palm trees and greenery. The Balad area ( old town) is worth a visit. I need to go again. Will be picking up my diving abilities in the new year.
Its a bit of a pain for a break as all the party places are over in the East, bahrain , Dubai ect. just for a week end break.

Hi Fareedae I used to go to the American consulate yrs ago in Khobar. It was multinational who got/went in and i understand its the same now ( TBC) I think you need to know someone there to be able to get in ect. wouldnt hurt to give them a call ... Read More
