Hello, I come from Guadeloupe and I have lived there for 11 years with my 2 children. I registered for the lottery in 2012 for a period of 3 years. And in May 2015, I was selected for the green card. I successfully passed the interview at the USA Embassy in Paris on April 26, 2016. I work in the territorial civil service and I want to change horizons and settle with my children in America. For me it's a good thing to take advantage of this opportunity that has given me, and at the same time which scares me a little, because I'm afraid of the unknown. I have to go on vacation with my children to Miami in August, in order to validate the first visa clearance at customs. I had a contact in Atlanta from a friend who has lived there for 20 years, and whom I recently found on social networks, but for the rest of the process, having no longer heard from this person, I am obliged to head towards Miami. Of course, I'm looking for a job, a job, a business, in order to meet our needs... very complicated at the moment, because all my contacts have given each other the word, they no longer respond and are absent subscribers....(lol) :-(( I am looking for a secondment in a consulate, but it is not won... I have almost given up on many occasions, faced with the difficulties which follow one after the other, because many things to manage at the same time, such as the art and design studies of my daughter who is soon leaving for France.
