I am a 59 year old professional/commercial songwriter who once spent summers in San Blas, Nyarit from '80-'83. Not wealthy, but comfortable from royalty/sales income. Also have been a honey producing beekeeper in Colorado and would kinda like to bring that skill as well. Fell in love with the pace, peace and people of Mexico and want to move back.
Interests: music, honey production, fishing, assimition, bee keeping

Where is best Mexican ocean commnunty for ex pats? by Rolllingstone

Maybe planning a move to Mexico from Canada at least for 5 months a year. Need to know cheap, safe ocean community . Are there others out there who could help? We were thinking of Cabos area, but I know this is in fact an expensive place to live. ...

I would give a serious look at 2 different communities, both on the Pacific coast... San Blas, Nayarit (be prepared to endure bugs) a wonderful little (10,000-12,000) fishing community with a strong expat community, plus if you love to surf it's ... Read More
