with my husband we come from France, and given the small pensions we had, we decided to come and settle in Bulgaria in 2007 we bought an apartment and the first years we only came on vacation while waiting for my husband to retire, for almost 4 years we have been a permanent resident the first 3 years we were in the apartment in Petrich, but we dreamed of a house to have animals and for 1 an year we are a few km from Melnik, a magnificent region, at the foot of the pyramids, I love life in the villages, more than in a less anonymous town and we do not regret our choice of Bulgaria at all.
