Merida, Venezuela
I have been living in Merida for the last year and love it. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful and made living abroad so much easier. I married a Venezuelan and we have come to live here to see what life is like in South America and it has been great. Plus the weather is always nice, sometimes a bit too warm for my Irish skin but i can't complain.
I was teaching english in a private school here and was madness (secondary school). It was hard work but a great way to learn spanish and fast.
