Kaitaia, Northland, New Zealand

Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea
Learning about the country, language, people & culture (if those aren't all the same thing?)
Teaching English to adults, both general English & business English.
Mmmm, ... everything?
Sometimes, just sometimes, the food is a little, just a little, too spicy. Nah, it's all good.

Bogotá, Bogota D.C., Colombia
Learning about the country, people & culture (if those aren't all the same thing?)
Self employed, teaching business & general English to adults.
The people, different places I have visited
The traffic. Oh and the weather is just a little cool for me (max 24 decrees C in Bogota). And the city is too far away from places to swim - lakes, the sea.

Monza, Italy
Living in & learning about another new culture as an experience with my wife.
Taught English to adults at a language school for about 18 months. Also 'taught' at a weekly language exchange.
Everything - the food, the culture, new friends, history, weddings, visiting different cities in Italy & Europe, the closeness to my son in London, ...
My slowness learning the Italian language.

Tianjin, China
Living in & learning about another new culture as an experience with my wife.
(Studied CELTA in Beijing for 1 month) Taught English to adults at a language school for 2 years. Taught English to university students for 1 year.
Everything - the food, the culture, new friends, history, Chinese weddings, ...
My slowness learning the Chinese language.

Wakayama-shi, Japan
Living in & learning about a new culture as an experience for my, my wife & two of my kids.
Itinerant English teacher to Japanese kindergartens. Teaching adult students in a Japanese language school. Also taught English privately to children & adults.
Everything - the food, the culture, new Japanese friends, ...
My slowness learning the Japanese language.

Kerikeri, Northland, New Zealand
Living ... every day! Lived in different cities in both the South & North Islands, house renovation, married with 4 kids, interested in people, computers, model railways, ... Oh, I have visited quite a few other countries, from USA to Bangladesh.
Computers / IT / ICT - programming, training, managing, teaching, selling ... Self employed, working for small & larger companies, government departments ...
What is not to like about New Zealand? Everything.
People who live there and don't understand how wonderful a country it is. Oh, it's a long way from many (most?) other places.
