My husband got a job here, so I'm along for the ride! This is a new adventure for us. I'm not sure what I will do here yet, learn Norwegian, that's for sure. We should be about 10 years, 2010-2020, then back to the US for retirement. We are now buying an apartment on Damsgardsveien, just across the water from the main part of central Bergen. Bergen is beautiful and I love it already!
Interests: reading, our young grandchildren, Travel, reading, some sewing and knitting, outdoor activities like walking and hiking, cooking

Purchasing Used Cross Country Skis by SnowinJune

Can anyone tell me where one can purchase used Cross Country skis (wax free) for children and adults as well as used down hill skis? I also read that there is a lit cross country ski trail. Where is it and is there parking nearby?

There is a place to buy used cross country skis on Damsg氓rdsveien, in a brick building. It is a used bike shop too. We live at Damsg氓rdsveien 43, and it would be the next actual building south of here. In between there is an apartment building ... Read More
