I was born and raised in South London and moved to Bergen in July 2009, after marrying my Bergenese wife in May 2009. I work from home as an export bookseller - something I was doing in London before coming here. It is nice to be your own boss but I miss the social aspect of working with other people. I studied Norwegian for 18 months before moving and have picked up a lot from living here. Initially the hardest part was getting Norwegians to allow me to speak Norwegian - most were too keen to practice their English! I would really like to get to know some more people here.
