My name is Leah Grace O'Brien. I have been living in Quito on and off since 2013. I traveled to Ecuador in 2013 and joined an international volunteer organization. I worked with street children in Quito and grew an affection for the city and its inhabitants. I fell in love with Ecuador and decided to stay. I have worked as an English teacher and private tutor in Ecuador. My background is in psychology. I studied substance abuse counseling at St. Peterbsurg College in Florida. I have many years experience volunteering in the United States and abroad. I consider myself to be a an optimist. I am a hardworking, compassionate person with progressive ideals. I consider myself cultured and very open-minded.
