I'm a 40 yr old happily married father of 2 young boys. My wife is German and we live in her home village. The reason we came to Germany from Australia is closer family ties and better schooling . Moving from a large city like Brisbane is hard ,plenty to do and amenities, shopping and take away joints. I miss the local take away shop for fish and chips , chicko rolls , dim sims and a curry pie. I worked in steel , logistics side. Here I work for Toys R Us in their southern distribution warehouse . I really enjoy being here in Germany but a catch up with some people from the "old country" would be great.
