Hello everyone, We are a small Belgian family; my wife, our 7 year old son and myself. We are both 34 years old and we live in Brussels. It's been quite a while now that has been ripening in our heads; the plan to leave our native Belgium... A desire to live elsewhere, to live differently... After a lot of reading on forums, on all official sites, go to the embassy for all the practical information which is plentiful.. We have made a decision... We want to discover the culture and way of life of Canadians. Mainly the French-speaking part of the country, although English is not really a problem for the three of us. (we have good knowledge, and at 7 years old, the little one will learn quickly..) My wife and I have thought a lot about it and we are giving ourselves 2 to 3 years of as frequent tourist visits as possible to Canada with the aim of discovering this beautiful country and its way of life. With a goal. Want to live close to the locals, meet people, exchange ideas, and start our search on site to find a job... My wife works in the hearing aid sector although ready to consider other horizons and for my part I am in the industrial printing sector (graphic art). We will therefore begin the process of traveling to Canada as a 鈥渧isitor鈥� initially. We don't yet have any ideas on where to start this adventure, but we hope to find something close to everyday life in Canada. Through these trips we will try to come in all seasons; to discover this winter which seems so harsh to us from here, the vast regions, the culture, the traditions. As I am rather optimistic by nature, I have good hope that these trips will make us even more eager to take the plunge..
