Banjul, Gambia

Hello everyone. I am a Congolese lady who came to the US at a young age. Now, I am ready to move back to Africa. My interest is to relocate to the beautiful little country of Gambia. I will be accomplishing my move sometime in April 2018.
I no longer work, however I enjoy creating and designing beautiful flower arrangements, art and craft projects, and interior designing. I enjoy doing anything that is creative.
I want to live in Gambia because it has diverse population of people who live together peacefully. The crime rate is low and a perfect place for a single person to settle. Also, because it is a small island and people get to know one another and appreciate each others cultural backgrounds. Most people speak English, along with their perspective native languages. I am a fish lover and Gambia offers you all the fresh fish you can eat because its surrounding by the ocean. The best part about moving there is that the cost of living is cheaper than most places in Africa.
What I don't care for is the fact that lights can go out anytime. This can be frustrating if you are not accustomed to it. It's a challenge to keep food refrigerated, so you end up making daily trips to the market for food. Other than that, Banjul is a beautiful place to live.
