My expat journey

Barcelona, Spain
I work as translator and interpreter. I live with my boyfriend
The sea and the mountain.
A loooot of stuff to see/visit/listen to - big big variety of concerts, exhibitions and museums all the time!
The food.
A lot of clothes.
Swing!
Big masses of tourists everywhere, which means traffic, unpoliteness and souvenirs everywhere. Expensive eating and drinking (comparing it to the rest of Spain - only in Madrid it is worse).
Pollution.

Mons, Belgium
Erasmus
Les frites! The people, oh they were all so friendly and kind! The beer, obviously. The very well structured courses at university.
The criminality in the town, the poor interest in the town's artistic heritage (monuments were reallly damaged). And missed some good nightlife, too.

Zagreb, Croatia
Croaticum - intensive croatian language & culture cours
The food (genuine, delicious and cheap), the live music (everywhere!), the nightlife (for every taste, really). A lot of leasure facilities, museums and theaters, a lot of green everywhere!
