I am a General contractor and have the ability to do anything.
The weather is much better then where we currently live, also access to outdoor adventuring. We bike toured around Ecuador when we were there, also we are both experienced white water raft guides and Mt. Climbers.
I have not experienced enough to make any bad judgements about Ecuador. All places have challenges. I guess how dirty the rivers were, lack of good sewer disposal.
