My name is Kat. I am setting a goal to move to CR within 2-5 years once my parents no longer need me. I currently help my aging parents and run a small sanctuary for parrots out of my little apartment. I would enjoy retiring and volunteering at wildlife centers in CR. I am poor but would qualify to retire there. I get permanent disability ss. I researched and think Atenas would be good. Close to refuges to volunteer at. I am open. And within the budget. I am worried about the negative comments about crime. I would like to find a place to rent that would help a local farmer or family financially. I intend to live minimalistic.
