About

Hello, I was raised in the oil field in Venezuela, both parents from the USA. One from Louisiana, the other from Oklahoma. We moved to Ecuador in the 70's and I spent my high school years in Quito. I returned to the U.S. for University and have always come back to Ecuador every couple of years. About 10 years ago, I purchased some property in Pedernales and planted Teak. The project requires 20 years, so I am about 1/2 way through. I recently bought a sawmill and the equipment required to manufacture wood floors and other items out of my teak. I am pursuing a goal of finding markets for my teak in Ecuador and the U.S.
