Both from the HR environment, we have lived in the South for 8 years Too big a house (after the departure of the children) and therefore, large expenses, push us to want to take advantage of the climate, the landscapes, the art of living, the kindness and, (also, a little...) the tax advantages linked to settling in Portugal (a retirement pension is lower than a salary to which we had, it is true, become a little accustomed) Our project: after moving this winter, to 'choose' our future environment, we are waiting for the sale of our property to be finalized to buy a villa in the Faro/Loul茅/Sao Bras de Alportel triangle. Updated as of 11/28/2018 that's it: cars and house sold; moving on February 1st, after final choice and purchase of our villa between January 4th and 12th. For us the sun even warmer than here, the villa on a human scale, the cure of oranges and more natural vegetables... and I won't mention everything...
