My expat journey

Cork City, Munster, Ireland
I'm moving permanently, or well, at least five years, to Cork City. I've never been to Cork, but my work can take me just about anywhere!
I am an automation engineer. I program, maintain, and validate the systems that manufacture pharmaceuticals.
Cork intrigues me so much. I want to live in Ireland first of all. Secondly it's a coastal city, which is a new experience for me. Thirdly, it's the food capital of Ireland - how can I NOT want to explore that?!

Plano, Texas, USA
I was born in southern Indiana, then moved to Texas in my late twenties. I'm a Hoosier girl through and through!
I love southern Indiana and its hospitality and culture. However, with no real job prospects for my skillset, I was forced into moving. Now, I will always call it home...but I want to see the world.
I dislike Texas. A lot.
