I would like to move to Zurich to continue working in an international environment.
New York City, New York, USA
I have lived in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I really wanted to work again in the US in order to gain more professional experience and I left everything in Paris when I had this opportunity to go to New York.
I worked at AXA Insurance Comapny as:
- casualty underwriting assistant
and communications/marketing coordinator
It would take too long to describe everything that I liked, New York is a city full of unexpected resources that I had a lot of fun discovering.
The quality of life was worse than in Paris, I could not have lived there all my life. The cost of health care and the difficulty of accessing housing also put me off!
Williamstown, Massachusetts, USA
It was my very first expatriation and my first time in the United States.
I was a Teaching Associate of French at Williams College (the 1st liberal arts college in the United States)
I loved living on an American campus and discovering student life.
We were in the countryside and there wasn't much around! (Not even a Starbucks) for me, 100% city girl, the adaptation was a little rough.
