Hello! My husband will retire in two months and we are interested in possibly relocating to Belize. I found Belize by watching House Hunters on TV here and it looks perfect for us. We love camping here in the states and my husband is an excellent woodworker. We enjoy people and love meeting new people on our camping trips. We want a simpler lifestyle and definitely want a warmer climate since we're getting about 6" of snow tonight on top of the foot already on the ground. If anyone can give us some info on what you do for healthcare, health insurance, cost of living and what sort of things there are to do there on a day-to-day basis, we would sincerely appreciate it. We've been reading everything we can from International Living and other articles online but still feel there's much we need to check into. We are in the process of planning a vacation there in May and hope to look at everything at that time. We are especially interested in Placencia. Thank you.
