I was born in the middle of the US on a Navy base at the end of WWII. I have moved all of my life- lived on east and west coasts of US, Tibet, Nepal, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and have had the best experiences traveling. I earned a doctorate in Spirituality and Art in 2002 where my thesis was on apprehending and communicating the spirit of place. I was marginally content to stay in small towns in the US- New Mexico mostly - and paint until the last 10 years and I find it is time for me to do something else and live in some more interesting places than the contemporary US
