About
hello, we are French-Swiss and have lived in Switzerland for 17 years. We are 44 and 43 years old, specialist doctor in orthodontics and doctor of law... we have 2 children aged 17 (senior year this year) and 14 years old (3rd this year). I have a job offer in Florida not far from Tampa. My salary will be less than that in Switzerland but having been there several times, life seems more pleasant, less stressful than in Switzerland and France. We are looking for a pleasant place to live where a real family and friendly, cool and relaxed life could take place again. We think that it would be an opportunity for our children and for us too because the renewal would be there. We are organizing this move for July 2018. I would a priori easily obtain the green because I will have a job which is moreover in the form of an association. My questions are mainly for my wife who is hyper-specialized in French law (DEA public law, doctorate in law, health law, DU Victims' law, etc.) and who a priori will have difficulty finding work on site and a questioning for our children, the oldest, university and for the youngest, normally entering the French high school. We see no disadvantage in entering an American "high school" but advice would be welcome. Then to find your home, is it better to live in Tampa center precisely for the proximity to everything in general such as schools, university, shops, life... or is it better to aim further away. My future partner lives in Dadcity, 1 hour from Tampa because having several horses, he needed space. This is a first draft. I thank in advance everyone who will take a little time to respond to me. I thank you a thousand times in advance.
