I'm a historian and I study African people's in Spanish speaking countries. The purpose of this move is so that I can continue my research and become fluent in Spanish. Fluency in Spanish will be required for my doctoral study. The other reason for the move is quite simply that I want to live in and experience another culture. I think living in Ecuador will be a wonderful expereince for my daughter as well.
