About

Hi everybody, I'm a 27 year old guy from Hawai'i, traveled the world for a few years before ending up in Madagascar and fell absolutely in love... It's embarrassing and confusing but I think it's better to be honest and share what I've experienced, as I would hope others would do the same so we can all learn: I married a Malagasy woman (a girlfriend at the time) after being told that if I didn't it would be dangerous for her and her family, and after having said no. Kind of an arranged marriage situation = ( and I'm not really sure even what I can say on forms that ask for my marital status. Anyways! Besides that little hiccup, I spent 6 months total in Madagascar so far mostly living in Ambanja, near Nosy Be, trying to develop a cool idea of making a shower that's cleaner and grows organic cotton easily and as a source of income for people and for basic infrastructure construction and maintenance. I'm back in Hawai'i now but would love to help in whatever ways I can... I know a little French and a little Malagasy and about the country, especially Ambanja. I hope I can help. And if you ever want to know anything about Hawai'i, I'm your man!
Interests: nature, specialty agricultural products, growing food, green charcoal., international exchanges
