I come from Savoie, I was born in Bourg-Saint-Maurice at the foot of the ski resorts, after studying geography and environmental engineering I turned to the professions of ski instructor and "high mountain guide" it's a bit pompous in French, the English say "mountain guide", high mountains I mainly practice the Alps with my mountaineering clients, I have visited a few small Himalayan peaks, the Andes... I plan to discover this high altitude world. My partner and I are coming to spend 3 months on the South American continent, with our big bags loaded with bivouac and mountaineering equipment and our skis! our plan is to visit, departing from Santiago, Bolivia (La Paz region, climb 1 summit or 2, the south, Atacama) then go down to Santiago via the north of Argentina (Salta, Cordoba) and reach Patagonia after purchasing a vehicle. We launched our project very recently following long-term leave recently obtained by my partner. We arrive on August 15 and we are looking for information to acquire a vehicle in order to use it from Santiago to Punta Arena. This last point is not so simple after investigation, we need contacts of residents in Chile to be able to fulfill the administrative conditions....
