I am from Bordeaux, I have known Guadeloupe since I was 10 (I come every year to visit my aunt in D茅sirade and Guadeloupe), my parents also fell in love at first sight and have been there semi-permanently since their retirement. I am a sports instructor (basketball) and also a socio-cultural educator. Moving to Guadeloupe is an idea that has been in my head for years and now I'm taking the plunge and looking for a job in my field. I'm still in mainland France waiting to have some serious touches, and once it's finalized I'm considering moving and taking a year of unpaid leave in mainland France to try it out for a year and then stay in Guadeloupe if everything goes well.
