I'm living in London and considering travelling again; International Living site praises Uruguay and my son and I had a looksee but cannot find ANY decent flats to rent,furnished, around the $7-800 US dollar mark at all; the Buscandero site and others depressed us so much we've more or less given up! any info on flats in Montevideo/Atlantida etc will be much appreciated thanks Aviva our budget is $1,500 per month TOTAL and my son lives and works in New York so I will remain alone after he leaves to start writing and painting etc; one thing suks, my age - I'm older, which is a real pain so what to complain about already?
