I have self identified as a humanitarian since the age of 14. A few years ago, I realized my mission in life is to be of service; I'm sure that was a factor in choosing mediation as my profession. I enjoy teaching people to learn conflict resolution and find ways to resolve their conflicts in mutually agreeable ways. I especially enjoy helping parents and children learn to be conflict resolvers. About fifteen years ago, I developed a hypothesis on predatory leadership. The development process began by asking people questions such as, "Do you think the world will ever be free of war?" (the answers are almost always, "no"); and why is it that the worst kinds of people often get into positions of power and control, parading as our leaders when their actions are often not in the best interests of those who are depending upon them for good leadership.
