I am a native-born Texan but lived in Manhattan for 12 years in the late seventies and eighties. I then moved to San Francisco Bay area and lived there for 26 years. I was a REALTOR there and loved the work immensely. I returned to Texas two years ago, to Dallas. I am retired and looking to leave the USA. I started my research two months ago. I have narrowed my choices, thus far,to San Miguel de Allende/Guanajuato or Ajijic/Lake Chapala.
