I left Paris in 2014 to settle with my German husband in Stuttgart. The change of scenery was total and absolute (immersing myself in Parisian snobbery for 15 years leaves its mark), and my first friendly encounters with a few Germans were not the best (it gave me the unpleasant feeling of being too critical, superficial... In addition, not yet mastering the German language, I was sorely lacking in the sense of humor and wit, in short, I was not in my right mind) Today I am a happy mother of 13-month-old twins, and I hope, alongside my work which I will resume part-time, to meet French mothers established in Stuttgart or its suburbs. We could organize cultural outings, walks with or without the children, have small restaurants, reconnect with the world over a drink, etc.
