We had been coming to Portugal for several years and when the opportunity to regain the title of non-habitual resident presented itself, we adopted it. Still having our home in the Basque country, this proximity allows us to live at both addresses alternately. We started by renting an apartment in Pombal a few km from the address we currently occupy (a small independent house) So far, we have not seen time pass.... various and varied works around and in the house... (construction of garden shed.. installation of air conditioning...) immersion in the population, harvest... That's it for our beginnings
