I took the plunge! Go and live in Portugal with 鈥渕eu namorado portugu锚s鈥�! And that's it, I'm there... and I'm staying there.
English teacher on availability, I naturally want to stay in the world of work here in Portugal... and things are starting to look encouraging after various searches in several professional fields. We'll let you work soon ;-)
I am a teacher in an English/Letters vocational high school in Paris (I requested leave to live in Portugal since the beginning of September 2021)
Learning the language of the country where you are going to settle is essential... So with numerous stays in Portugal and an intensive Portuguese summer course at the ICLP of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisboa (August 2020), I was able to obtain the B2 level of the European framework.
On a CV, this can be a plus. I already have French and English in my luggage
The list is long but first of course: 鈥淢eu namorado鈥�! I love the whole region which goes from Seixal to Setubal passing of course Sesimbra. No need to praise Lisbon and Porto but the hinterland is also magnificent. More generally, I fell in love with the kindness of the people, the Portuguese culinary specialties, the history and culture of the country, the breathtaking landscapes and of course all under a sparkling sun.
