My name is Lyn. I am originally from West Yorkshire, England. I bought an apartment in Fethiye 13 years ago, as a holiday home. After taking early retirement in 2007 I found myself spending more and more time in Fethiye. I made the decision to move here permanently in 2010 and haven't looked back. The people are so warm and friendly, the scenery is stunning and the climate...well what can I say!!! Every day is an adventure and an opportunity to earn something new. My family is still in UK and I love to visit and spend time with them. I love photography and am thoroughly enjoying getting out there with my camera. Every day is a photography adventure with a whole range of subjects from stunning landscapes to Turkish people engaging in traditional activities and food, food, food! I am a self-employed freelance photographer, author at Fethiye Times and Land of Lights and design Social Media Marketing plans. I also like making new friends and meeting people.
