Hi, my name is Joseph, I'm from Sicily, I'm 36 years old, I've been married for 4 years and I have an 8-month-old daughter. I've been a chef since I was 16, I studied to become one and at the same time I worked in the family business (a hotel/restaurant), I also had experiences abroad, the last one a year ago for nine months in San Francisco. I love my job and I like to get involved. I want to leave Sicily not because life is bad (indeed, the sun, the heat, the food, the people are all extremely a mixture of colors and warmth) but because we are unable to express ourselves at our best in this land where unfortunately the state is putting us to the test. My family is an Italian American family so I have an American passport and I feel half American. I want to make Italian/Mediterranean cuisine better known in America.
