I was born on March 8, 1950 in Cannes, in the South of France. After high school, I began music studies which took me to the Schola Cantorum, rue St Jacques in Paris where I obtained my advanced piano diploma and also took organ and counterpoint harmony lessons from 1974 to 1977. I worked in the world of entertainment at the Paris Opera at the Cabaret du Lido in Paris. I joined the National Education Department as an assistant music teacher and passed the internal entrance examination in 1983. I am a teacher at the Taravao college. I am married and the father of five children.
