About
I am an English teacher, of Sicilian origin, retired for a year, with two independent children. I have many friends in Sicily and a friend who will retire next year and with whom we would like to start this adventure. I have lived in Ravenna for thirty years and I need to keep my bones warm and so I thought of Tunisia which, even if I never visited it, was present in my childhood stories due to the fact that my father was from Pantelleria and many of his friends and relatives lived in Tunis. I am fascinated by Arab culture and despite the recent episodes of terrorism I still think that anything can happen in your home too. In this I am fatalistic like the Arabs. I like to travel and learn about the culture of the countries I visit. and I would like to be able not to remain the Italian who goes to Tunisia to "live the good life" but to be able to integrate with the local people. I have some doubts about the healthcare system and the possible costs of insurance to cover the costs of private care. And I also regret not being able to maintain my Italian citizenship. I like to cook and I have a dog that I would like to be able to take with me. I love the sea, walking, hiking, following my favorite series on SKY and hosting my friends everywhere. I love cinema very much and I was wondering if there are several television theaters in Hammamet and the surrounding area that also show arthouse films. I love succulents and even in Ravenna I managed to make them grow luxuriantly. I think I've said enough. Best regards
