Hi, I am a full time mum living with my two toddlers Darach (3) and Isla (20 months). My husband is a physics teacher in Dundee which is a 80 mile a day round trip commute. He is fed up with the daily grind of working in a badly underfunded state school which has alot of unambitious pupils. I am just tired of bad weather, high cost of living and the general fast-paced stresses of every day life. I am scared that this general negativity and stress will eventually plague my kids if they are brought up here. We have therefore decided that we would be happier and more fulfilled in a more relaxed environment and a climate where the kids can get plenty of sunlight and exercise. Although, we are aware it is a big gamble with young kids and the road to happiness may not be plain sailing we think now might be the time to take the plunge.
