About
On early retired after serving a leading bank in Kenya for 33 yrs. My home is on the kenyan shores of lake Victoria but settled in Ongata Rongai area next Nairobi City. I am trying to set up a program of helping out poor farmers in self reliance on food through back yard shambas (small drip irrigation systems) where people can sustain themselves with atleast vegetables.
i am a married man with 3 grown up children and one daughter who is still in basic school. My loving wife is a nurse in Nairobi. We are in the process of finishing off private home so as to avoid rent expenses and ofcause much of the vegetables which we are able to produce at our frontyard. I am also training a few young people on poultry farming at my backyard. this for me gives me alot of pleasure than the high profile job I had as a Bank Manager but coming along with extreme pressure each and every day.
