I am a 24 year old French girl who has been living abroad for 3 years now. After working in Paris, London and Sydney, here I am today in Lisbon to acquire new personal and professional experience, but also and above all to challenge myself once again. During my third year in Bachelor Tourism & Event Management, and with the aim of considerably improving my level of English, I completed a 7-month internship in an events agency based in London. Once this internship was completed, I then landed a 6-month contract within an Accor Group hotel as an Event Project Manager and Multi-skilled member. In June 2016, a London events agency contacted me for a freelance Event Operation Manager mission for a period of 3 weeks in Paris and Lens during Euro 2016. A few weeks later, after a great desire to "see further", here I am already on the next plane, destination: Sydney. Upon arriving in Australia, I worked for 6 months as an Assistant Manager & Event Coordinator for a delicatessen and cheese shop specializing in mainly Italian and French products. (In this country unfortunately, it is only possible to work for 6 months for the same company with a Working Holiday Visa). In March 2017, I was offered the position of "Restaurant Supervisor" in a Japanese Restaurant and Caf茅, for another 6 month contract. Following my year in Australia and before returning to Europe, I set off to discover South East Asia and did 3 months of volunteering in a dog shelter on the Island of Koh Chang (in Thailand). To date, I have just arrived in Lisbon and hope to find a position in events that will give me as much excitement as the previous positions, and in the medium term future, I would like to become my own boss. I also want to invest and grow within a company, here in this magnificent city.
