A great desire to leave France, expatriation tempted us, and we did not regret this magnificent country, we lived in Misserghine the Clementine region, its name came from the Clementine Fathers for the work of my husband Gérard, we had a very good experience. Sea, sun, the locals were very nice.
Regarding my professional life in Algeria, foreign women did not have the right to work, only natives.
I liked the diversity of people, we were multi nationalities: Algerians, Spanish, French, Swiss, English, Russians, Germans?. very cosmopolitan, Then Franceville in Gabon I was able to work 2 years in a bank!
All this allowed us to get to know and live together with expats and locals, a great experience lasting several years. In Ivory Coast, my 2nd child was born in Abidjan, 2 years as a secretary, the next country was Cameroon, a very beautiful country and great experiences as well. Back in France with my 2 children, my husband stayed there and returned shortly after following a coup d'état.
