After a crazy first week in Thailand, I have been in ShenZhen for the past two weeks. My mission: To find a Graphic Design Internship here in Shenzhen for the summer so i can finally get my BA back in the states, to make some new friends and explore the city. I know could find an internship back in the states but what's the fun in that? So far i have had a few offers but i am unsure where i will do my internship. ShenZhen is pretty amazing. I love it so far, but I admit.. i am a wee bit homesick. Not to mention I miss the people.. i miss speaking English. Its pretty rough being an ABC.. i look asian .. i am pretty white in the inside. I guess that makes me a banana or a twinky.. I really hope i can make some friends here and explore the city :)
