I am a craftsman manufacturer of wooden terraces for individuals in Nice, I have been in a relationship for 24 years and a fan of underwater life and coral life... Divers, electricians, carpenters, plumbers and cooks on my own time, but also an impromptu tourist guide.... In search of a place related to coral seabeds and scuba diving, we discovered Selayar, an Indonesian island little known for tourism but at the dawn of a development that we hope will be different from Bali. The meeting with a French man married to an Indonesian and running a resort with 6 bungalows for 5 years is at the origin of our project today. After meeting him for the first time on vacation in February 2017 for 10 days in a place blessed by the gods for which we fell in love, we came back to see him for 12 days in June to help him clean 2 beaches that he owns (or rather his wife) and to get to know him better and confirm our real attraction to this island and its population. Then he accepted my help for 2 months (November and December 2017) to help him manage the bungalows and the clients because his wife at the same time was giving birth to their 2nd child in Makassar (35 minutes by plane) where she lives far from her husband. After this stay to validate our understanding and real love for this island, the project is taking shape: Offer him a real boat to take diving clients on site but also for camping trips that he organizes with his same clients and also offer a service that is completely absent today: excursions 2 hours away by fast boat to discover the 3rd largest coral atoll in the world from its beach.... And I am here today to get help on the administrative and financial feasibility of our future partnership.
